Liam Alexander
Liam Alexander is a film director, fine artist, speaker, and community leader with 2 decades of experience in the art world.
His artwork has been exhibited in galleries and art fairs across the United States, published in outlets like Kolaj, Nylon, and Rolling Stone, and he's created commercial photo, art, and film projects for major institutions like; Wix.com, The City of New York, Volvo, Samsung, SAP, and Renaissance Hotels.
Liam’s first film, Wish You Were Here!, premiered this year at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, and his second film, DEPTH, is currently in post-production. His filmmaking builds on decades of visual storytelling, exploring identity, masculinity, shame, humor, and the quiet emotional truths underneath the performance of our daily lives.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design and former President of the American Society of Media Photographers, New York Chapter, Liam is also a longtime community builder, creating programs and projects such as IThou at the NYU Kimmel Galleries, The Exchange at Rush Arts, #StrokeofGenius, Being An Artist, and The Bridge Program, all designed to educate, inspire, and help artists build more sustainable creative lives.
